So when I pull in my obj file to dDo the uvs for the file are not being displayed properly on the model. The layout in the texture part are correct but when it displays it on the model it does not look right. This is coming from models that I make in 3ds Max I have not tried using one from Maya yet I think I will try later tonight.
Any thoughts as to what could be causing this?

This guy is having the same problem that I am. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=139812 Part of the mesh seems to vanish and the textures are out of place.
Try triangulating your mesh before export and it should work as expected!
