hey this is coming along very nicely!
got a question, why do you sculpt the meshes if you hand paint everything? or is there normal mapping on these?
You can use the baked maps from your sculpt to make a texture that has pretty much atleast 50% of the painting done. You just need to clean up the baked texture after that.
Is exaclty that @Tzur_H as @pigarttold you, I made sculpt after that I bake on the low poly version, I clean the baking . And the last step is use the bake and texture over that.
Here's an update with the socle. I'm not sure about the color and the contrast of this socle , it's why I made 3 version and I need your help to chose . My favorite is the last one it's why I made a render with this one.
Hey guys ! I was not there since a long time but I'm back ! I just finished my diorama today and I wanted to share with you ! So enjoy and of course feel free to give me your advice !!! It's ALWAYS appreciated . By the way I started a twitch channel so if you want to joint me , you are welcome !
Hey guys !!! as @Kid.in.the.Dark asked , this is a small guideline about how I made my textures. I hope it will be usefull for you guys ( at least for @Kid.in.the.Dark )
Thanks! Thats a very clear break down thank you! I'll definitely give this a shot haha... I've only ever utilized bent normal's green channel and a baked curvature map for my previous projects haha... when you say curvature from normal map... what do you mean exactly? is it just a curvature map baked out? haha
