Hey Guys. I've been a bit unwilling to post my work lately but I thought it would be nice to post this since I'm having fun with it and would really like to get input from some other artists. I'm currently working on Rocket Raccoon based on the art from the recently released comic. One thing to note is I'm not sure about the tail so there are two versions in the image. I'm aiming to make a game res model but I think the cleaner shape is more accurate to the design. Anyway, I hope you guys like it.

One thing to point out is I "think" the lower part of the leg's might be a tad too short, but it's always hard to tell with cartoon figures. Those damn critters just love stretching limbs for crazy posture effect!
For now, I just put together rocket's rockets:
I also have some construction shots:
I also think you should exaggerate things a bit more, particularly the snarl and the raised eyebrow. Really bring out that comic feel.
- added some detail and contrast ot the fur
- softenened up the tail
- changed the color of the leather parts, they where the same as the skin
- made a black n white layer and checked some values.
- added detail on the weapons, burn marks, scratches and dents n stuff
you can push this further.

I wish you could do something about the leg as it looks like he could of used just a few more supporting edge loops there so the silhouette of the right leg/his left when bent wasn't too obvious of a low poly when compared to the rest of the model (it's forming a bit of a too obvious triangle which is compositionally distracting to me in a still-image)
buuuut that could be just me and my two cents.
Great job!
