How do i set the alpha channel corectly ? Please i really don't understand i have the same issue with my awp. The barrel and some parts look horible and i can't make it better. Can u send me a private message or something ?
I found the sollution.
You go to channels in photoshop and it should be one named Alpha , make it visible and color all the channel in black. But only in that channel. That work for me.
Making the whole alpha channel isn't the best solution to this because it will make the gun never wear at all, which I think might hurt your gun's chances. You should only darken the areas of the gun that you need to override and try to get it the right value so that it still wears, but doesn't interfere with the design of the gun.

Read through this: CS:GO Durability and Masking
You can override the "paint by numbers" by using any gray below 128 on that area of the alpha. It should come out fine after that.
