My first Character

Hey Polycounters,

I started wiht a new project, my first (female) Character. My goal is to gain some experience in character creation and get better with Zbrush. Normally I do more environment stuff and props so this could be a big challange for me.

This is my Basemehs so far. I used Korra as a reference for the proportions. I'm really open to every sort of feedback

good so far but id make the legs longer and add some muscle to the arms as korra's arms are quite muscular. also keep going and dont give up!

Check your proportions, ie the scale of the head compared to the body, the height of the torso compared to the legs, etc. You'll get there, keep goin.

I agree that the proportions seem off. To me it looks like the torso might need to be a little longer.

Also I was wondering how you found such good reference? I was actually looking at doing Sokka from The Last Air Bender and had to sort of screen cap from the show itself but a character sheet like this would be awesome.

Another tip would be to use Image plane or Spotlight to overlay your reference image. The information would prove valuable for proportions and gesture.
