ZBrush - Overlay for alpha not showing up

I cant seem to figure this out, or find anything on the zbrush site/or/google.
How can I get the alpha overlay to appear on the view port? grr. Thanks

Not sure what you mean?
Alpha menu?
Stencil overlay to apply a stencil on a mesh?
Display transparency in the viewport (i.e polygon strand of hair)?

Well Here is what I remember being able to do.
When drawing detail with an alpha, a box for say would appear transparently over the viewport and you'd be able to paint a texture or paint detail seeing the part of the alpha you wanted to paint.
