Interesting. I thought people would have checked this out, given its relationship to video games and visually arresting style.

I might give it a little longer to see whether someone gets it, then answer your questions.

Alright, I guess that'll do you.

The movie is Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker, a movie based on the same source material as the STALKER video games, albeit taking things in a very different direction as you might expect coming from said director.

It's an odd sort of movie - beautiful to look at and positively dripping with atmosphere, but slow and meandering and ultimately not a whole lot actually happens in it. It's very much an arthouse film.

Whether it's good or bad is probably up to you really. Don't go in expecting it to bare more than a passing resemblance to the games and there's quite a bit to like.

I'll throw something else up soon. Something that might -actually- go quickly.
