Hi everyone!
I'm currently a student and recently I've been able to dedicate more time to my studies, so I'm posting with the hopes of tracking my progress and also seeking critique and pointers!
I've got a lot to learn but I've got to start somewhere.

I post a lot more wips on twitter and my sketch blog than I remember to update there sometimes.

This past week I tried my first unwrap! As well as my first finished biped, albeit her being very very simple. I forgot to take a pic without the grid, this was mostly just to show the unwraps and get some feedback on it.
I'll be trying it again with the tips I was given and make sure to sew the major pieces together this time.
Oh gosh sure! That didn't even occur to me haha.
I'm starting on this guy, I don't think it looks too bad. I'm actually having a harder time with it than my first one.
Firstly, since the piles and the inputs are connected on the mesh, should I sew the UVs back together? Should I stack the two plugs to save space?
And on that note, when you have something like this where the mesh is the same but just like...moved a bit differently, should you just use the same UV and stack them? In which case if that's true, how would you do that? Or would I just copy the one I already did and re-adjust it?
I hope that made sense. x.x''
Right now working on doing a face.
