hey all! my idea was to do a storm spirit set based around monks. Here is my initial concept that i'll be evolving into a badass set within a few weeks (hopefully). Please crit away.
Hey man, I really like that storm spirit concept. The only suggestion I have is to do something with the hat... It's a little boring compared to the rest in my opinion. Just my thoughts. also I really like how you're using texture in that concept. Lookin forward to seeing more of our work.
hey dudes! little update on the set. Was making the basemesh for zbrush when i saw hamstocks comment and i pretty much agree, the hat is boring. Here's a little idea i came up with but i'll probably try a couple of things before settling on a head design. So here's the idea and a sneak peek at the progress for the 3d
One comment on them, If you rotate them so the string goes through the points it will be much easier to sculpt/align textures. Probably much easier to just use the same texture on all as the dark ao spots would all be at the points and the same spot underneath.
Takes a little (very little) more alignment but makes the rest of the process much smoother.

i've tried keeping the folds for the clothing simple as i think makes it more in keeping with most other items in the game.
