No we shouldn't. It is going to get out of hand quickly. I'm fine if we implement a system like the evironment challenge. A simple/ small character and a regular character. Having 4 different characters to work from on here is going to get hectic and people will stop giving critiques. It's already hard enough to keep up with crits when there is one or two concepts. Sorry if I am coming across as rude. I just think we are starting to get on a slippery slope here.
4 concept is a tad much IMO. We would need more bodycount for that.
I'm sure you pros will have no problem as always, and fly thru it like flies on hot chocolate cake, even if you are on your own :P
Two or Three options is at most we can afford I think.
I think that too many concepts is going to kill the whole "work on the same thing and get advise and workflow tic from other people" thing. The goal here is still to learn and have fun, not to create an art dump of character art.
Anyway, I'm pretty exited for this next month, even if the substance contest is going to be my main goal here...

After the cartoony demon this month, I vote for this pair. It might be nice just to have a choice of 2 characters (this image). That way we have a style set, so we are all working to a common goal, but we have two characters to choose from!
ZBrush is well worth it, man. For so long I hated it and was scared of it. It was playing hard to get <_<" After awhile it came around though... Or maybe I came around >_>"
