The ArcTron 3D Company - Engineering Services for 3D Surveying and Software Development - located in Altenthann near Regensburg, Germany is a highly specialized 3D-Scanning company whose services are used for the 3D documentation of topography, architecture, cultural heritage sites, ancient monuments, archaeological sites and findings as well as 3D object documentation. The 3D data is further processed and integrated in 3D multimedia projects, VR and games.
The company has been in business since 2001, operates worldwide and employs nearly 20 specialists ranging from geodesist, surveying technician to computer scientist and specialists in the fields of 3D modeling, animation and multimedia production.
Requirements:
Professional knowledge in
- Autodesk 3ds Max or Maxon Cinema 4D
- Adobe Photoshop / Premiere / AfterEffects
Nice to have:
- degree in any relevant discipline
Experience in
- Autodesk MotionBuilder, Maxon BodyPaint 3D
- Adobe InDesign and any product from Adobe MasterCollection CS5
- Python / Maxscript
- photography
Responsibilities:
- creating characters, props, environments
- motion capturing, hand animations
- creation of high quality highpoly objects and optimised mid- and lowpoly models
- analysis and post processing of laser and SfM scan data
- procedural and photorealistic texturing based on photos and 3D scan data
You should:
- be capable of making decisions on your own
- have a high sense of responsibility
- be able to meet production deadlines, be flexible and be able to work under pressure
- be determined and results-oriented
- have good problem solving skills
- be proactive
- be able to work in a team
