Hi. It's time to do my demo reel.
I'm going to make my models to fit new generation consoles hardware. Things will be based on Killzone Shadow Fall specs. Two characters, each 40k tris and 4-6 texture sets (2k maps). All running in UE4 with PBR magic.
I want to make video with fancy camera movements and a realtime demo where people can rotate model, change lighting nad choose character pose.
First character will be Druid female. She will be regular human but costume and props will convince you that she is a druid mage. After finishing body I will sketch some costume designs on top of renders. Im' looking for feedback on anatomy. Hands are barely touched and I know this suck at this moment.
Second character is her mount, a Beast. Fantasy creature based on gazelle, horse and goat. Paws are based on Capybara's. He can walk silently with open paw and gallop with closed. Horns you see on renders are just reference objects, eventualy they become openwork construction resembling roots.
Now project is on early stage. Any feedback is welcome.
