Help with tablet

Hey i'm using a intuos 5 medium tablet, and i can't seem to get pen pressure working when i use my brush strokes. It just stays the same size
I've update all my drivers etc and still no effect

You've tried unplugging the tablet, rebooting your comp, and so on? Is the tablet new or have you had it a while? The pen could be going bad. That happened to my Intuos 1, but only after about 6 years of use. Intuos 5 is relatively new, so...

Sad to see old Wacom problems still plaguing their new hardware.

Press F5 in photoshop and check shape dynamics and size controlled by pen pressure. Do you have an icon of the triangle near 'pen pressure' ? It means something is wrong with the drivers.

Related question: You specified that pressure isn't working for brush strokes -- does that mean it is working when you test it in the Wacom panel?

Probably unrelated but...i have a glitch that prevents pressure from working if i launch photoshop with a mouse first. I have to use the pen when launching...zbrush doesn't seem to have this problem though.
