Adventure Time just premiered it's 6th season on Monday, the fact that we have threads for lesser shows like Game of Thrones & Walking Dead (just kidding!) but not Adventure Time is sacrilege!
Not sure how to start one of these things... so, how about that Lich guy, what a dingus! Right?

LSP is just too funny.
Also, on a related note. BRAVEST WARRIORS! Made by the adventure time folks and free to watch online. Holy crapballs that show is funny. I highly suggest you all check it out on youtube.
Bravest Warriors, Gravity falls, and 'Rick and Morty' are also worth a watch.
[Spoilers} Also, the scene in the season premiere episode when lich is walking towards finn and jake in the darkness and finn is unable to move while lich is talking about despair and death and dark things to come, holy crap did they do an excellent job of making me feel dread while watching a cartoon.
Watch Rick Potion #9 immediately!
I do find the longer over-arcing storylines not as enoyable though. Like the whole flame princess deal. I mean i just prefer the random, short episodes with a single wacky story. Earlier seasons were better with that.
Yeah I just watched the new eps.
I watch Rick n Morty aswell, altho it's a different angle, I would say its aimed at the same audience, or atleast the older segment of that audience heh.
Hmm gotta check out that Bravest Warriors.
Ha those cakes look lumping hawt!

New episode of Adventure Time tonight! James II

If you don't like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure then I'm sorry robot. I hope some day us humans can teach you to love.
Hey Ice King! Why did you steal our garbage?
Bee and Puppycat is just trying to be weird all in my face, like Rick & Morty but just less offensive. What the hell is up with 'SHOUTING WEIRD THINGS' supposedly equaling funny?
/rant over
Have you seen a whole episode of Rick & Morty and what episode was it? My girlfriend would see bits of it and didn't really enjoy it but when I sat her down and showed her Rick Potion #9 she changed her mind.
When this Mazzy Star song plays at the end, hoooboy, those feels

I'm conflicted about Steven Universe, sometimes it's got that nice Adventure Time balance but other times it feels like it swings too far into the Fairly Oddparents for kids territory - Frybo being the worst offender.

Rick Potion #9 was the first episode of Rick and Morty I saw, and it sold me on the show. And yes, that ending with the music was just incredible.
No other episode in the series has felt quite as impactful, but they're all still good. Looking forward to the second season.
Regular Show is awesome! If someone here watches it for the first time, some episodes may seem like a "regular show" at first, just wait until the plot turns into that Bill and Ted kind of humorous stuff MattQ86 mentioned

I don't watch the show nor do I know anything about it, but that is some incredible work!

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
God i miss that one.
I got hooked on Archer but it is just a drunken james bond to me , nothing like regular show, adventure time, gravity falls or bravest warriors etc.
edit: Combined glory
Gravity Falls is a really great show!
Another less known show that worth mentioning is The Big Knights. I remember watching it when I was really young... definitely for kids; but still pretty cool and I got a kick out of finding it again (having only the vaguest memory of a funny show about knights).

So many other good suggestions to check out - thanks guys! Inspiration folder, here we come!
Yes! I don't watch the Adult Swim shows as much as I should. But this episode is amazing.
Also, if any of you get a chance go watch the Sym-Bionic Titan episode 'Lessons in Love'. It is probably my favorite episode of any cartoon show ever.
Apparently you can watch it at Adultswim.com http://video.adultswim.com/sym-bionic-titan/lessons-in-love.html
DOOO IIIIITTTTT!!!
Man I love the boondocks. So glad they're still goin
So i watched all of that episode, can't say it changed my mind at all. I smiled like maybe once, and the silly story and crude humor ('handle that shotgun like my penis', srsly? ) made the 'emotional' song at the end feel even more disconnected. Not for me I guess.
I'll give Steven Universe a try
Here's the preview for next Monday:

It looks like Finn has a magic glowing arm? I hope they don't cheese out and just give his arm back, they've been building up the arm loss for a while to just magic it back feels like a cop out.
As soon as lemongrabs voice actor turned up I was sold hahaha......UNACCEPTABLLLLEE!!!!!
Every time Princess Bubblegum shows up now I wonder what her backstory is since out of all the main cast in the series she is by far the least explored. We know Ice Kings back story, and the parts of Marcelines that relate to the Ice King, but the only back story PB has got so far is the early days of the Candy Kingdom.
not surprising but still, its kind of been hinted for a while, but still..it actually happened, so exited what they do with this.

And even though he's trapped inside a cute, chubby, baby-man, Ron Perlman still gets to make an appearance as the most terrifying bad guy on Adventure Time.

I've been jumping in and out of it this whole season, I am really surprised how real that show can get at times.
I really love how often Steven's drawn off-model though, feels like an excuse for the animators to draw stupid faces for him which is great.
