Is it possible, in 3dsMax, to achieve the following.
1- I have a plane with several elements
2- I can add a map and the result is as in the picture below:

3- I want to add UVWMap modifier, set Mapping to BOX and the result to be as the image above, not as the image below:

So I can move and rotate the gizmo, but the texture that is applyed will be transformed(and showed) per element (not per whole object).

you can use 'face' but then put a UVWunwrap modifier on top of that to rotate the texture.
you could also use 'face' and then put a UVxform modifier to rotate the texture.
either way should work.
