Hey Guys, I've been lurking the forums for a while now and i finally feel like its time to start posting. This is a project I am working on this month as a project for my class, Its a Kodak 35mm Camera. For right now I have my high res done, please feel free to give me a critique or some advice. Thanks
seems like on your main body piece, you have good edges, but on a lot of the smaller pieces, your edges get really tight. and i think they may not bake well
You might want to consider the WWII version; other than the color scheme, it's almost identical, with only an ID plate on the front or bottom for Army-issued units.
I think the OD color scheme will let it stand out from most other camera renders.
The case would be a nice addition if you have the time.
I think the notched ring on the front of the lens is too thin.
Hey guys sorry for not updating this post as i worked on the camera, but i was very busy working on, so i forgot about this post. but here is the final product, feedback and critiques are welcomed ,also feel free to ask me any question if you have any.
thanks
Personally I would try to meet texture resolutions together, so the body wouldn't be that blurry compared to details. Also, the brass could be more reflective.
Another thing is normal map for scrathes/weathering - way too strong, makes it feel blobby. The paint itself is not that soft and thick, rather opposite.

I agree with luge. You may want to look into making your edges a little wider.
