WIP- Ceremonial Officer Sword. Feedback pls?

I'd love feedback before I start texturing let alone doing the game model. However I am absolutely clueless to what the poly count should be. So if any one can give me what my budget should be I'd love it. :)

So this is my high poly sculpt. I want to make sure there isn't anything else I should fix before I get further down the pipeline. Pretty much this is planned to be a realistic piece and I am using this piece to teach myself the Marmoset 2 albedo map process. So there will be a bit more grunge than in the reference. I am however unsure if I should ding the sword up.

    Looking good. I'd recommend enhancing the eagle emboss more as you may lose tiny details during bake. As for polycount it doesn't really matter so long as you're not in the tens of thousands. If it's a portfolio piece or main chars' weapon you want to nicely define those curves. If it's just a background prop, or for use far away from the camera then go lower poly :)
