Hello Fellow Artists,

Decided on a new portfolio project 2/3 weeks ago, now I no its another gun ha ha but I really did enjoy modeling this.

SA80 A2 with Elcan Spectre, fore-grip and Vario-Ray Laser light. I'd say I've managed 98% details close as I could. your feedback at this stage is valued.

The cartridge & bullet seem very long & thin for a 5.56. I assume you're going for an M855:

The rails seem too wide.

hum I'm using airsoft refs for the rail and they look the same I could not tell you if the real guns are different.



As for the rounds M855 no idea I just measured them to scale in Maya, I guess I can't have them green tiped. :P Thanks for the feedback

its getting along there bud, just remember to keep your edges nice and soft for baking purposes. Also the weapon looks to thin, might just be the angles at which it was rendered. besides that keep going at it bud!

I could be 100% wrong but back when I was into Airsoft two of the guys I played with had these and from what I remember the rails are more or less the same between the airsoft models and the real thing.

hi, I also made one of these so I'll give you a few pointers from what stands out to me:

the l85a2 has a tear drop shaped charging handle, the one you have is from the l85a1. it should look like this:



the biggest issue you have so far is that everything is too thin. the mag looks too thin, the magwell is too thin, the reciever itself is too thin, the foregrip is too thin and your rail assembly is too thin. the gun has a bit of chunk to it:

Yeah looks like about half inch to thin at that part.

Okay added correct "pull handle thingy" & thickened the bottom part grip handle and ring round trigger.
