BRB is looking for an experienced and talented individual to join us in creating exciting stylized game environments for current and next-gen systems. Youll need to demonstrate strong artistic ability, show a good understanding of clean silhouettes, use of clutter vs clarity, thick vs thin, rule of thirds, form, and the skill to interpret concept art, plus have the technical skills to push your work through a pipeline into CryEngine 3. Flexibility between art styles is important, and of course you must have a passion for playing and making games!
Responsibilities:
Modeling and texturing level terrain and game-ready assets for architectural and organic environments
Taking a level from rough prototype to fully polished, complete with visually appealing compositions and wow moments
Work closely with Designers and Programmers in creating fun and functional gameplay spaces
Troubleshooting and maintaining levels for optimal frame rate, memory, and design specs
Requirements & Skills:
1+ years game development experience modeling and texturing environments using Maya and ZBrush or comparable packages
Ability to visualize environments with minimal or often missing concept art
Strong polygonal modeling skills able to generate clean and efficient models quickly
Strong skills in creating preferably hand created textures
Strong hi-res modeling and sculpting skills in ZBrush
Smart use of texture space and modular meshes
Good communication skills and ability to work with team members with the big picture in mind
Schedule-focused, able to meet deadlines, and adjust to changes
Good eye for color, strong shape, structure, and silhouette

Experience working with Maya & ZBrush
Foundation in traditional arts or sculpting background
Familiarity with contemporary game engines such as UDK, CryEngine 3, Unity, etc.
