ZBrush - Doesn't load the file/tool

Hello eveyone,
im fairly new to ZBrush and I learnd alot these days, but now I have a big problem. I cant load a file or to be more precisely a tool. The mesh is "gone". Well, the file is 80mb big, but it seems there is no information in it.

I tried to use the quicksaves, but they are empty, too.

What is the problem here?
Is it a bug or (what I think) my fault?

I saved the file, not the tool itself.

Zbrush is REALLY weird with how it does files. did you save it as a tool (.ztl) or a project (.zpr) if you saved it as a tool (which is the "right" way to do it) then you would load it back up and then draw it to the canvas and press "T" to get back to modeling it. when you load a tool, nothing will happen. you need to draw it to the canvas.

hmm probably your file corrupted?

did you save it as tool?
