Oh man! So good so quick! Within three years? I'm currently work in 3D but really want a faster way to develop ideas so I'm trying to become a better traditional/digital 2D artist. What would you say was the biggest contributor to your development? Your painting studies? Or your drawings and sketches? I know it's all good but It's always nice to hear
Truth be told I dont draw nearly enough. like 95% of what I do is painting studies, and it really shows. (my pure drawing skill isn't very good at all.)
Recommend 50-50 on both. but for quick concepting, a good foundation in drawing is best.
Love the updates! I've been doing colour studies as often as possible (almost every day, between modelling). I'm not sure what the best way is to learn though. I know I should be targeting a specific area, but it must be difficult to gauge improvement? I was also wondering, how did you land your first job in art? And what was it? Thanks again for the updates!

Ah gotcha And freelancing? Nice! Hope you do well. No more tutoring? I was actually approached to teach at DAE heh (temporary). Might end up there sometime soon.
