Recovering corrupted PSD

My computer crashed and corrupted a PSD that I was working on. I've got a backup but it's quite a few hours old and given my tight deadline at the moment it'd be useful not to have to redo all of that texturing.
I've tried various PSD corruption apps and online solutions and none of them seem to be able to recognise the file. That might well mean that it's completely dead, but I thought it was worth checking with folks here.
Any suggestions on how I might at the least get it back as a flat bitmap - I can deal without layers, though it'd be great to get them back too.
