I'm a bit late with this, but here goes. I really wanted to do a project in Marmoset 2 during the Christmas break as I just purchased a license for that and Knald as well.
Merry Christmas to Polycount I hope everyone got all the video games and computer parts their hearts desired.
Image updated above, I added a normal map worble to the cookies, tweaked the glass a bit and added some staining where the icing meets the dough was looking a bit too cg.
DWalker, the outer surface isn't actually a perfect circle on the cookie or the icing. The eyes and teeth aren't either, but I agree the eyes and teeth silhouette imperfections are too subtle now that I look back on it. The reference you've posted is not the style of icing I was going for though, so if you look at the below image it's a much cleaner and sharper style edge. I like the cutout face style it shows the logo better which was one of my objectives when creating the images.
I tweaked the shape of the eyes/teeth/month, maybe still too subtle, image up top is updated. Here's a shot of the latest version of the icing. Maybe a need to sculpt these edges a bit to soften them up Got to go to bed now maybe I'll test it in the morning will give me an excuse to fire up 3D coat which I've completely forgotten how to use.
Hey guys, fixed up the mouth, teeth, and eyes. I'm happy with them now. Went back and remodeled these as sub d and added some more worble to the silhouette of them.

Thanks man, right back at you.
Also, instead of cutting out the eyes & mouth, consider using candy drops or a different color icing.
The icing can be fairly smooth (certainly smoother than in the above image), but there will still be some imperfections left.
merry Christmas and happy new year my friend
