How'd everyones year go? Anything good happen? I think I had more bad things happen than good, but in the last month, my mom had a successful surgery, and I have been going through an interview process for a dream job, so things are looking up! I`m optimistic about 2014.
Any art related goals for 2014? Besides getting this job, I want to get back into my online classes. Continue my after work learning through that avenue. Definitely want to learn cameras for animation.

I also want to make a sequel to the Game-Maker game my brother and I made in '94.
2013 has been pretty amazing, it feels like a really found a place I settle down in, hopefully I can stay in Austin for at least 10 years.
2012 was pretty cool though!

My 2014 Art Goals.
-Traditional Clay Sculpt around 8 creatures and 2 human sculpts, teach myself to sculpt using clay and making molds. End goal is show in a convention for fun.
-Create an array of substance tools for personal use.
-Sketch more... make it more of a habit try to make it daily or at least weekly.
-Have more fun in life try to take a nice vacation with my wife... been crunching far too long.

Hmm, hadn't thought of new goals for the year until now. But I'd say they're:
-Become good enough at concept art that I'm no longer embarrassed to show it.
-Improve math and coding skills (so many uses for this in the 3D art world).
As far as goals go, it's definitely to stop sucking at 2D art which will hopefully feed back into improving my 3D art ^^
