I did this project to learn how to use the additive transparency in Marmoset Toolbag 2 and to increase my understanding of the transparency type. I doubled up on the glass by extruding inwards and flipping the normals so that I can apply different reflectivity to represent the varied materials that would come in contact with the glass.
Small scene I made to celebrate my favorite and the spookiest time of the year and to try another new art style. I am disappointed however that Marmoset Viewer seems to force mip-mapping which causes the lower-res textures to just look blurry instead of having the sharp pixels that it does in Marmoset Toolbag 2. More ya know (If there is a way to disable this please let me know, thanks).
"I am the Bucket Knight, keeper of promises. . . Yet, time can be so cruel, for I have aged and cannot remember the past. You know what I refer to, and I know that you know. . . However, you do not know at the moment, nor can you remember. Let us recall our memories together in order to remember our promise.
Poor, helpless, unlucky girl, tell me your tale."
Probably one of the most underrated PS2 horror games (or at least unknown), Rule of Rose holds a special place in my top ten games and I love the story revolving around Bucket Knight.
Played around with subsurface scattering maps for the very first time during this project. Still not 100% sure how to get things to look like I want them to but I think I reached a good middle ground for my first attempt. Comment and critique!
A stylized Quest Board to be used in an RPG setting that I am playing around with, not sure how else to build upon the world and art direction but I am enjoying myself so far.
Old 80's Arcade Machine. This project was a bit time consuming, the side panel artwork I had found was to low resolution to use as a texture so I had to recreate all of the characters and patterns shown on this cabinet. Despite all the hair pulling I do like how the project turned out and I plan on doing a couple more texture variants.
I made this Dark Souls 3 fan art instead of sleeping. Working on speeding up my turn around time on projects. Next step is to do it without sacrificing (too much) sleep! Viewer and more images at the link! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/b4Avk
Fan art of Blade Runner 2049. First time I saw the movie I was amazed by the art and sound design and I was instantly drawn into the world just like when I saw the original. I loved the vibrancy of the colors and the sense of scale in this scene, and wanted to try my hand at recreating the scene.
Small project after rewatching Fate/Zero. Main challenge of this was dealing with the engraving. I had trouble finding a high res shot of just that and wound up using illustrator to create a stencil for use in Substance Painter.

"Developed by Magus & Arms, the 80-X Cutter offers sleek design, safety, and slicing power. The blade is sheathed and unsheathed by a pull of the trigger, allowing for a no-muss-no-fuss quick drawing for when you need it."
Designed this sword after wondering how swords would look today if modern firearms were never created. I tried to incorporate and fuse elements from traditional swords with elements from rifles and pistols of today.
