I didn't do high-poly for this one. Honestly I don't get it why many people do high poly for all the items.
To go further with details, without increasing tris? I guess you item is a way too simple , in zbrush you could add bandages, scratches, runes or other cool things. And believe me, it's really important to do it.

I agree with Magno your item is simple so the high poly is more important. I think you should.
P.S. I did some sculpting but for some reasons the normal map is not appearing and honestly I like it this way since I think a clean glaive (no bumps) fits with luna's character
It's not bad, but it's extremely bland and boring. Some different colors and simple details (like the ones on her lion's head thingy or on her clothes) would definitely help. Also, not sure why but the shape really reminds me of a shield (even though it makes no sense that it does) and looks a bit too big for a glaive.

I agree, I've been appreciating minimal art for too long and I'm quite bad with those decorative stuff.

The color looks much better! It was a small change but it really makes the blades have some more depth. The only problem I have with it is that I still think it's a bit too big. It may be because the blades are huge compared to the handle, which makes it look like it would be a bit awkward to hold and even worse to throw at enemies. A friend of mine suggested to use some runes instead of cracks.
Do you think it's good to use some Scandinavian runes on it? (either remove the cracks or not)
nah. lunas style isnt very *runy* if u look at the shield u will see its more some kind of minimalistic ornament - lines on background. this style might be anyways more ur friend compared to runes^^
You could try it, but I think you have a really small space to do it, so it may not look that great ingame, where the texture is 256x256 and it's seen from afar.

una always desired a weapon reminiscent of her past life when she was the scourge of the plains. The Glaive she held - although strong - never felt sharp enough to strike fear in the heart of her foes. That is until Selemene gifted her the Lunar Harvester, a weapon tempered with intense moonlight and capable of slicing enemies in perfect lunar symmetry. A weapon used for the harvest of all those that oppose Selemene.
At the moment I'm working on a weapon set for luna (which I will post the images later) but I wanted to take a break so I decided to do a gyro off-hand weapon

I did 3 glaives for Luna but I'm still polishing them
I've done a high poly ulti for shadow shaman (horse-Dragon) but I'm looking for an animator to co-op with. (It's for the Chinese event)
And currently I'm working on a huskar set for the upcoming Chinese new year competition, the helmet is almost done.(Huskar killed the new year horse and made a helmet for himself )
SO I NEED ONE ANIMATOR AND A 2D GRAPHIST TO MAKE PROMO PICS AND MAYBE LOADING SCREEN. Anyone keen?
I like where this sculpt is going... I hate to break it to you but bones and chinese culture don't mix. If I recall correctly all the skeleton-like characters have been edited not to show bones in the chinese version of the game.
Aduro is a weapon of legends - which has only be seen as a simple drawing in the dusty scrolls found in the hidden archives of the Temple of Selemene. It was once a weapon wielded by Selemene herself to defeat the demons that rose from the Stygian Rift to conquer not only the world they stepped on but also the moon itself that is filled with magical powers beyond comprehension. Selemene used Aduro to seal off the rift and thus sacrificing the weapon to do so.
However on that dark day were Tresdin (the Legion Commander) killed the Demon Lord, Aduro the Lunar Blessing was released once again from the rift and it was found again by the followers of Selemene. This legendary item has now been gifted to Luna (her most devoted servant) and with it, she will not only fight against the enemies of Selemene but also the demons that rose once more from the rift.
With her purpose expanded she now rides to close the rift once and for all. And the Lunar Blessing will aid her well in this task. It is said that Aduro is the manifestation of the lunar light and will burn demons on the very touch with holy light of Selemene.
Every thumb up will aid grant Luna permission to use this Legendary weapon in the Battle of Ancients as well, for Selemene has only allowed her to use this against demons only. It is up to you to convince the Goddess of the Moon to allow her to do otherwise.
Long before Akasha the Queen of Pain was brought onto this world, the king had tried multitude of methods to inflict agony and pain onto himself which would somehow pleasure him, however the pain never felt ecstatic when it was inflicted by himself, and thus did not bring the king any joy.
On the first day of the Spring a mysterious merchant from the east had arrived to the kingdom. When he met the king, he instantly recognized the longing in his eyes for a forbidden desire and thus he gave the king a gift.
A ceremonial dagger named "Kuangxi". The merchant named T
You are rushing your forms and it is affecting your sculpt. Bring it down some Sub-d levels, block out your primary forms and secondaries before you go for those fine details.

The problem is that it's a dynamesh with +1000 resolution, and if I reduce the resolution, somehow I will lose the form. Is there any solution for this case?

well I can make a high poly out of it anytime by subdividing.

I guess you should do a little research in the forum and see other people work to get a base idea how to do dota stuff.
There are many good modelers, concept artists and animators around. I'm pretty sure if you watch their process you will improve alot.

I realized there are some rune-type patterns on luna's default skin.
