Hey all. Been lurking around here for ages now, and I finally decided to post something 
This is something I played around with a while back, then put it on ice due to work. Finally managed to submit it today.
I should make the "promo image" for the entire set, but I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to doing it - kinda lazy for all that pimping stuff

I'll try and make an item or two every once in a while when I have some down time. It's a fun distraction.

That portrait view is so sick!!
I spend most time on the helmet. It was the starting point.
People don't seem to like the sword all that much
I'll prolly work on the textures some more, but I don't want to go too crazy with the shape. Kinda like it simple... dunno
I kinda like 'em, but then, I would since I made them lol
In any case, I'll probably redo those two.
I do have a question regarding that. Concerns mostly the rating system. Right now there are some people there that like how these two items look, and others that don't. Based on their opinions items got their rating. Which is fine.
But what happens if I upload a new version of an item? A drastically different in it's appearance than the original. Then some people won't like it as much as they did before, others won't hate it as much. Makes the rating kinda silly - since not all up/down votes apply to the same thing.
My question is - does the rating get reset when an item is updated, or just keeps counting?
If I want to make a drastically different version of an item, is it OK just to overwrite the old version, or does it make more sense to create a new submission (I would delete the old most likely)?
I'm cool on both, just curios
It's apparent my hand painted textures leave much to be desired, but I'll get there eventually
I have no idea what to do with flames. Does anyone have any tips, or useful link on how to do a stylized fire? I have half a mind to just leave it like this, other half tells me to get rid of it altogether.
Any input would be greatly appreciated
Also, I'm still not sure weather to delete the old one or just post an update. Can anyone shed some light on this?
