Heya polycount.
I'm a recently graduated 3D artist, living in Belgium. I am currently doing an in-between-job while trying to polish my skills and make portfolio-worthy stuff.
I've made some threads on polycount before and I really like all the feedback that is given here. So here I am, making a sketchbook thread. I'll try to update this whenever I have updates that are worthy to show.
So I'll start off with my first piece I've worked on for two evenings now, and also my first real stab at the thing all cool kids are doing now: handpainted texturing. I agree that the model and design are somewhat bland and boring, but hey, one has got to start somewhere. I also left some extra space on the UV-sheet for a second sword.
Y'all probably know the drill, all comments are welcome, as well as suggestions I could improve upon for my next model.
