That's terrible! That's the problem with cars, humans drive them and they tend to do really stupid things, like this guy did and almost cost someone their life. Best wishes for things to get better from here on. Make a fast and thorough recovery!
A truly awful situation. I wish Ana every success with her recovery. The Polycount forum (and indeed game art as a whole) community spirit is something to behold.
Man this is so sad. I'm very sorry for what has happened to you Ana, if you ever read this, and although I'm not religious, I am wishing you all the best in the world. I hope the irresponsible jackass who did this to you will experience a life-chaning epiphany of his own and wish this to never happen to anyone ever again. You are an inspiration to all of us. Please stay strong in your recovery and may our words offer you some kind of solace in your journey to feeling better and regaining your position in the world. Stay true to your passion and never give up. We all care for you and we are all rooting for you to get well.
Donated 30 USD. Horrible thing, hope she gets better soon!
As previously mentioned, I'm a Swede and we got free health care over here, so it felt natural to help out when I first saw this! Best wishes from the Lando Bros!
Crazy I hope she gets better soon her work is amazing. I donated what I could but don't have much money right now hopefully I can give some more later during the week. "Gary Calhoun"
Redhonor: She has her site in her profile description (signature).
Thanks! :]
Loving her artwork!
I'm glad so many people are pulling together. It's a neat thing to see that we're all pretty darn human, no matter where we come from or what we do. We can always try to help each other out.
Just to let everyone know Ana is now out of the hospital and recovering at home.
She seems to be cheerful instead of stressing out so everyone thank you so much for helping out in her time of need.
I'am really impressed by the helpfulness i have seen everyday on this site, not just for people in serious dire straights but for those of us who were intimidated to even post our work or too stressed about our skill level.
You guys and girls were very helpful to me and you continue to be to this very day, so again i want to thank you all for supporting Ana, me and everyone else who's looking to better themselves for that chance at their dream career or just to improve because they want to.
God bless you Get well soon....All the best for your bright future...Nothing last forever and also this pain will fade out soon...i saw your works they are awesome..you are great artist..i know you will recover soon and get up to draw and sculpt again
It's inspiring to see the community come together and help out in a situation like this. I wish you all the best aswell Ana
Yeah I was gonna mention 3d printing aswell, I've seen some awesome progress lately in printed prosthetic limbs functionality and affordability by comparison to medical ones.
I hope you recover soon and get back into art making action.
I was referring to The Almighty God.
you couldn't help yourself could you. :poly118:
I hope she recovers soon, my prayers to God for her.
Oh chill out it was a joke......also prayers are good, religion brings some people strength and purpose, which is cool, but you don't have to bang on about it, being all preachy and uptight makes you seem like an asshole....which I'm sure isn't the case.
