Hey guys!
Posted a character that I've been working on in another thread where the concept was the main subject but I decided to also make it in 3d.
Was almost finished with the entire thing when I decided to just throw it away and start over as it looked like crap.
So this thread will show my progress of the new version of the character and I could need some help!
Starting off with the sculpt of the face. This is the progress so far.

Now tell me how you made those hair shells
In Zbrush (the third image in this thread) I made the hair using the topology brush! Never actually used it though as it looked really silly in low poly.
Eventually I just sculpted a mesh as a base then made some planes with hair textures and alpha on. going to add some more of them later to make it look more random

If he sat down, the knife would stab him in the balls.
Most shirts and jackets have seams where the sleeves and torso meet standing vertical, not horizontal as you have it. It's also throwing off the look of the shoulder transition, where it seems he has no bones.
The boots need better definition, and need thicker soles.
Not sure what those side things are on those jeans. I know of no jeans that have those, and even if they did, what could he put in them that would cause them to puff out so rigidly? He wouldn't reach back in there to retrieve whatever was in there.
Those shells he has on his chest look more like .50 shells, but the rifle on his back would probably explode if he fired one from it.
The way you have made the hair, it looks very long. If it was the post apocalypse, he wouldn't have the hair care products to keep it slicked to the side like that. Go ahead and throw some of that hair in front of his face.
Might not be able to fix all that, but will try my best!
