even though this looks like a nice idea and the sculpting is solid. i think the paper color and the deep red ink pots are off and breaking the whole appearence a bit too much colorwise
You might be right, although it's a little more saturated in the shots than it is in-game due to the environment map I was using in Marmoset.
I had started with a much less saturated paper colour (and was shifted towards blue to keep with his original colour scheme) but it wound up getting lost in all the particle effects that come off him in-game... I figured I'd get away with pushing it a bit more. Perhaps not :P
The red I've kept to match the glowing red parts of Lich himself.
But, well, it's at 40%:60% positive:negative votes so far... I'll do better next time...
