Need some guidance with workflow error

Been tearing my hair apart now for a few months, giving up, coming back, encountering new errors, giving up, coming back etc.
All I wanna do is a modular brick/stone wall for my isometric game.

This error I'm sure can be corrected by adjusting my UVs, although I'm not sure how.

Anyway, here's a few pictures to start describing my problem:

First picture shows the model in 3DS Max.
Second picture shows the model in Mudbox.
Third picture shows the normal after been put through XNormal.
Fourth picture is the unwrap in 3DS Max.

Now this is my game so far with 100% placeholder graphics:

I simply wanna make some stone walls to replace those BSPs in that screenshot, later on include roots and such. I just need to overcome this obstacle. I'm not experienced at all, so my errors most likely comes from inexperience, hence me asking here.

I guess what I'm asking for is:

1)
How can I correct these UV maps? How would I create something working out of this? Am I off with a bad start, as in should I somehow consider my bricks/stones differently before sending them into Mudbox? Divide them somehow...?

2)
Looking at my environment, would it be better to only have the bricks as a static model and the walls as BSP instead?
What would the easiest workflow be if so?

Now don't get me wrong, I've read ALOT of tutorials and material on modular walls and such, but in ALL of them, I've encountered errors that the writer hasn't. Different results and such. I'm not stupid, I've just been struck with extreme bad luck. So any help or guidance past making a simple wall with individual bricks/stones would be immensely appreciated.
