Environment modelers needed for new level called ,,Streets" (Tactical Shooter on UDK)

Scenario:
Intelligence has reported a group of well trained Mercenary's have been hired to do a bombing attack in Central Munich. Special Forces are called in to dispose of this threat.

Objectives:
Merc.png
- Plant the bomb in one of two locations and withhold attacks from the Special Forces until detonation.


Swat.png
- Avoid allowing the Mercenary's to plant the bomb at all costs. Should they be successful, defuse the bomb and prevent the slaughter of innocent people. Or eliminate all enemy's before the bomb is planted.

About

Streets is currently in development by our level designer Jonathan Gorr. He is making excellent progress since he joined our team 6 months ago and has been working like a machine. The Level is coming along brilliantly, giving us a positive boost and the community a brand new map soon!

The modelling and texturing process is supervised by 2 art directors. They are both very experienced and give useful feedback and tips throughout production.

We are now at a point in time where we need more dedicated environment artists to help with asset and scene creation. The level is located in Central Munich and the architecture ranges from historical to modern dwellings, creating a striking and stunning atmosphere.

You must be able to create UV map models, produce high polygon versions of objects
and bake normal maps, be able to create diffuse and specular maps and be able to texture.

Your Profile:
- Motivation is key! Since we are a team of volunteers (we all work without-pay in our spare time) we don't expect you to invest a huge amount of time per week, but we do expect results in a realistic time frame.
- Commitment is essential. We want people who want to learn, gain experience and use this as a stepping stone for their personal career. But we want people that will stay around and not drop off the edge of the world.
- Results driven plays a part of our team. What you can do, what you have done are significant but only if you can actually deliver an end finished product that we can put in game.
- Communication is what connects the dots. Being an international team requires activity and dialogue. So we expect you to tell us when you are going away, having a down time and keep in touch via our forums, email and most vitally through Skype - our main communication tool.

- Last but not least.. FUN!. We want you to gain experience as well as enjoy yourself, working with a relaxed and dynamic group of artists, playing games together and chatting about general stuff.

Essential Requirements:
- Must have experience using either 3D studio Max or Maya
- Ability to create accurate assets from various reference pics and concepts (own initiative is key)
- Be able to create UV map models
- Ability to be assigned tasks and take direction from level designers, not afraid to try new things
- Ability to produce high polygon versions of objects and bake normal maps
- Have experience texturing models as well
- Ability to create diffuse and specular maps
