A bit of progress on my set that I did today... Still need to find a proper way to export the sword. When I export and subdivide it smooths way too much. Anyone got any idea how I can change this? I use 3ds max and Zbrush
Hm. What I usually do is bring the low poly into Zbrush, subdivide it with smooth off 2-3 times, then subdivide it again with smooth a couple of times and smooth it out with brushes. That usually keeps the detail.
Finished the hipoly for the set I'm creating with Foxclover. I'd love to hear some feedback on it though! If anyone can tell me something I should improve before moving on to retopo and baking. Enjoy!
Wow, that latest Disruptor set is showing a giant improvement in your abilities, really impressive! The only crits I can offer is that the staff on the back feels really flimsy but that's more on the concept side of things.
So since I don't have my tablet with me while I'm home for christmas, I thought I'd might as well finish some base meshes for some upcoming sets. Not really sure if I am a fan of the earth spirit bulls, so I'll might redesign how they look.
Booyah! Quickskinned everything (except mount) and put it in the game! Seems to fit pretty good! Now all I need to do is to skin it properly so it doesn't do all that nasty clipping!
Bit of progress on my earth spirit set while I'm waiting on fox to finish the textures for the disruptor set. Tried this polypainting stuff, pretty cool shit.
I think you could stand to bevel/soften the edges on the armor for your Earth set, the sharp edges on the shoulder and waist armor might not bake that well.
... Why are you posting that in my thread? xD
But thanks quockhanik!
AndI'll try to smooth the edges a bit before I get to the bakes Sukotto, thanks for the advice

A bit of progress on my Kaolin set. still need to work on refining the skinning and make some of the diffuses better, but pretty satisfied so far (Weapon is only diffuse and normals, none of them neat masks yet.)
Hello everybody! I'm almost finished with my set for Kaolin, but I need a bit of help. I'm pretty torn with what placement I want for the loading screen/marketing picture, and so far the answers has been pretty equal. So I'd love to get some opinions from you guys as well.

A bit of progress on the earth spirit sculpt. I think I'm overdoing the bull thing so I'll probably remove it from the weapon.
