Sketchbook: The Drinkmilk Edition

A character I've been working on. Leader from the Mighty Ducks cartoon. I wanted to do an update on the original look. Thought it'd be fun since there's seems to be a trend happening with updating stuff from the 80's 90's.

I forgot to mention; please feel free to critique the hell out of this thing. Here's an update:

Update: Added a few doohickeys to his armor. Will add something to his back and give him a low jaw. Then it's off to texture land! Unless anyone has any objections.

UV unwrap finished...lots of gaps but I'm ready to finish this guy up. Any critique or advice is welcome.

Deciding between 2 different color schemes.

First pass on baking shadows. I think I'm going with the darker look.

Adding some X-men elements just for the hell of it.

I'm about to call it quits on this guy. A few more finishing touches and maybe a normal map. I dunno.

I threw in some design ideas from comic books. Bishop and Cable were two characters I thought of while designing his outfit. I'm also a huge Joe Mad fanatic.

I hope he's released one day. It would be cool to see him on Garry's Mod or Source Filmmaker.
