Hi all,
Iv recently moved from UDK to Unity
in UDK through the material editor, it was possible to paint meshes with other materials in the editor.
for example if i had a rock with the material created for it, then created a panning sand texture, i could blend the sand texture straight onto the rock mesh.
Strumpy seems to have the lerp nodes required to set the shader up, but I cant seem to find an advanced mesh paint function.
Is it at all possible please
Thanks for you'r time
Regards
Will

There are plugins available in the asset store, though.
Not the best, but free.
I have spoken with my employer and he is willing to splash out if necessary
can i ask if there is a preferred plugin at all?
thanks for the free suggestion
il also look into it

Yeah, I've used this. Buggy but as was said, it's free and it gets the job done. All I wanted was a way to paint meshes that used a custom vertex blended shader and it pretty much worked.
Wanted to check out okkun's link but it's not loading over here at the moment.
