Bare Mettle Entertainment's first title, Sui Generis, is an open world RPG that explores new approaches to gameplay, story, animation and much more to deliver an unprecedented game experience. The game is the product of many years of design and R&D and is now in development after a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
The game takes place in a low fantasy setting resembling medieval Europe and uses an isometric style 3D view. Graphics are in photo realistic style using a new and unique rendering engine with a strong focus on visual quality. The game uses realistic physics extensively and offers the player complete interactivity with environments and characters.
Using unique bespoke technologies, we at Bare Mettle Entertainment are pioneering an extremely simple and intuitive workflow for the development of the highest quality assets with minimal effort. Is this a proprietary engine you guys created in house or is it a new/unique engine that is available for potential candidates to brush up on before hand? It would be great to know how it compares to some of the other popular engines like unreal and unity, how it handles textures, shaders, materials, etc etc. For example would you be using Smart Textures done in Substance or standard maps? All useful information for people to know if they are a right fit or not.
Thanks!
