I'm attempting a low poly model for the polycount sub 1000 thread. I'm uvwrapping now. I already set up all the other parts of the body, except for the main body itself. I'm having a difficult time getting a good uv map out of it. I tried several seams, but none of them helped to produce a good shape. Maybe I tried something wrong. So for now, the body uv is stuck in a planar flat mode until I can find a way to make it work. I hate using flat mapping, too, since it makes some polygons get split off into their small little sections. Welding them makes the shapes worse.

Cylindrical Mapping for arms, legs, and feet and maybe face too as well ?
