Hello guys.
I seem to have a lot of problems with texturing at home which I don't know how to fix. I have been trying to find the solution for past couple of days and then I was told to register on this forum.
I work on the student version of 3ds Max 2013 but when I texture at college everything is fine so I don't know what's wrong..
This is how I normally texture:
Go to Unwrap UVW, select polygon selection then open the UV editor then I select flatten mapping and render the UVW template. Using this template I create a texture in photoshop (1024 x 1024).
In the material editor I select the standard material and assign the bitmap image to Diffuse but when I assign the material to the object it all looks wrong..
Here are few examples:
On the left: Render On the right: Texture(numbers should be on each of the side)
