You've been doing great work guys, I wanted to stop by and thank you for all you've done at 3dmotive! I really enjoy the free videos on your youtube channel, I always keep an eye out for them.
We've got another batch of awesome with another 5-For-5 Sale over at Udemy for the next 5 days! A handful of great courses for just $5 with offer code 5FOR5!
Nice deals, I have a subscription though, very happy with that
Just wondering, do you plan on adding auto play for your videos get's a bit annoying to close the video and choose the next one when watching tutorials.
We are currently revamping the entire site from the ground up. We're working with a killer team on the backend to relaunch with 3dmotive 4.0 in the not too distant future. The bulk of the web design has been complete, just wrapping up a few loose ends and then the entire site will get a killer makeover visually - and functionally.
Having the videos "work" properly is high on our list for features for the video page, as we haven't been happy with this iteration's video page since its inception.
Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully in the coming months you'll see a whole new site that everyone will really appreciate, with the same great content we keep trying to deliver week after week!
We hope you like it! You'd do us a huge favor by spreading the word to all your friends and giving us good reviews if you like the course, and help us continue to keep delivering them!
The five for five are great deals but I can't help but feel like they're a little bit fractured. The latest one seems like a good workflow for getting to know Maya and UDK but then it has UV unwrapping for max. I currently have the subscription, so I'm not looking into buying these so much right now, but why not have that 2nd pack with the Maya UV unwrap? You guys have it on the site anyways. At least then it could be a combo pack pipeline of making game stuff in Maya, unwrapping it, rigging, and then pulling it into UDK.
I guess I just think the deals would be more appealing to buy if they centered on a specific software or goal whereas now it is kind of random.
I can't recommend udemy.
I purchased 2 courses from the PROMO and I can't go through any of them because streaming stops and site goes blank.
Happening on PC, Mac and iPad. Even if I download the course for offline viewing sometimes it also doesn't want to start (ipad) and nothing helps till few hours later.
If I can't have 24/7 access to this stuff then it's a waste of time and money and I'm not going to use that website anymore.
hm, i bought some stuff from 3dmotive recently and i could download it just fine without any trouble
unfortunately, this was before they startet their 5 for 5 deals
these deals are crazy..
You can download from 3DMotive but Udemy is a streaming site.
Only way I found to download is through ipad but it needs native app and it doesn't work too well unfortunately.
We're back for Round 3! Another stack of courses for 5 bucks over at Udemy.com! This time, it's a Unity-Polooza - And an awesome ZBrush course too! Grab a sweet stack of great courses for just 5 bucks with offer code 5FOR5!
Hi Robeomega! Which "New to 3ds Max" do you mean - the Intro course? Currently it's only available as a streaming product. We hadn't released it as a downloadable yet, if that's what you mean.
Awesome deal, I might buy some of those zbrush tutorials haha. In case anybody is interested in the GameMaker Studio tutorial(s) you can grab a free copy of the standard edition of GMS right now.
Hey guys! Our current system doesn't have an automated way of re-downloading, but if you need a new link we can verify the purchase and send you another one on our end, just let us know at support and we'll hook you up!
Just a few hours left to take advantage of this massive sale!

Does 3DMotive include courses that provide a comprehensive overview of Maya's Turtle renderer which is now included with all versions of Maya?
Apart from the short videos at Autodesk, there is seemingly nothing out there online about this game centric baking tool.
