Hi all, just wanted to make kind of an archive of all the things ive been making the past months, also ill post all new concepts here for someone willing to collaborate.

thanks guys, well i usually use couple of brushes for sketching, inking and painting but recently for matte coloring ive started using this pack http://jonasdero.deviantart.com/art/BRUSH-SET-Photoshop-Painting-Brushes-348274576 using mostly the hexagon brush while holding down the alt key to collect similar colors while painting with different pressure. Or for cleaner effect like the red magma of the ck items, i make a selection and build up the shadows and highlights with the gradient tool while tweaking around with the color burn, overlay and hard light. Hope that helped
what makes it different to one axe? besides the polycount ingame, which might be harder to match with 2 blades instead of one. but the modelling should not be an issue

haha no, my cocnepters didn't give me enough fodder, the flooding here keeps me from driving to my girls so i took a concept from here, of course with permission to make an item from it

well yea, i usually try to update with couple of concepts from time to time, i also do requests when im free. I try to help out with textures/masks and promo stuff too, everything that requires painting, so depends how much i get involved, will pm you for more info if youre interested.

well i was experimenting with new brushes and textures to make the splash art more fitting to dotas style, so there you go;

its a doom sword, for a name was thinking either Igneous Brand/Glaive or Rock.

Coolio! Not sure if the edge should be orange-hot for fire damage, or the edge should be stone-cold for heavier damage.

it could work both ways, but i went for an upper heated part cause it would look more appropriate if the blade is melting from top to bottom and i think the particle effect is coming from the top of the blade which will fit the blade better if its coming out of a heated magma.
