So it's been suggested to me to concentrate on recreating professional concepts and real world environments. I am going to model this concept based off Iron Man from one of my favorite artist's Steve Jung. Right now I just want to concentrate on the corridor portion. I would appreciate suggestions or paint-overs. I've been trying to stay motivated while looking for
work in the industry. I will post my progress and am open to critiques, suggestions, and such.

If you're serious about this like you said in your other thread, I'd recommend picking up the pace a bit.

There's not much to critique here. Looks like about 5 minutes of work. There's also a lot scale and proportion issues that generally I'm not too worried about 5 minutes in, but you might want to watch out for those.

Looks like a fun concept to work with, but like EvanL said, there isn't much to critique on. For blocking out purposes, I'd recommend taking screenshots from the same angle as the concept, so you can match the perspective/scale/FOV a little easier.

Right now, it looks like your pillars are too thick and I think the height of the middle wall section is too high. If you move the camera to match the concept, the UDK FOV is probably a little too low as well.

It wasn't even 5 minutes of work. It was just a rough blockout just to get something on canvas, so to speak. I am just going to tackle everything separately, refining it till I get positive feedback, and then move to the next piece. I am going to start with the flooring first and get some critique and then start with each modular piece. I do see what you mean about the scale and proportion issues, but again it's pretty rough. I am hoping that I can at least get this project done in a decent light if anything, just for practice so I can start to redo my entire portfolio. In the recent couple of days I am starting agreeing to the notion of just tossing all my 3D work. I guess my 2D work doesn't even count these days considering all the great digital painters professional and hobbyist's around. Waaaay better than me. As for picking up the pace, remember I started a totally different project originally before changing to this so I am starting from scratch again unfortunately I have nothing but time...
