NY Doom project nearing completion. Critiques welcome!

    Overall looks good, I think youc ould play a little bit more with the sky, maybe some HDR effects? Also the sunlight doesnt seem bright enough for some reason.

    The streets texture look so noisy and low res, that I would change too.

    I like the buildings, can we have more buildings on the background? or maybe even add a skyline matte plane showing some broken buildings...

    Compositionally this image is quite strange. There is nothing in the foreground, the focal point is a building way off in the distance that splits the whole image in two so it almost looks symmetrical. I would move the camera forward by 6 foot and to the left by 10 foot so that you are looking down the road to the right of the tall building. Game environments should lead a player through them and show the player where they have to go.

    I agree with bugo and easterislandnick. It looks nice so far, but you could definitley push it a lot more ;)

    One thing which comes to my mind is that everything looks really flat (normal map? spec maps?)
