Thanks PryZern
I am finally happy with the eyes and skin. I have started painting the hair texture. Please forgive the lack of backfacing. Marmoset 2.0 is having shadow issues with backfacing.
@ thepapercut - Thanks!
Update done with the hair texture for now. Might come back to it later. Overall pretty happy with it. Let me know if you have any crits.
Pretty much finished with the highpoly of the falcon for this piece. Just hammering away will get the low poly with normals and AO up soon. Here is a render of the highpoly. Let me know if you have any crits.
So I am starting posing. I have some stretching to fix. I still have to to lighting work and make a base for it, but this is pretty much the final pose. Crits welcome
Nicely done!
Personally, the color combination of the falcon doesn't feel like a falcon(I thought it was a chicken.... sorry)... How about put little bit brown color or black color on it?
I prefer the lady without helmet. Her hair looks gorgeous and fantastic!
@ artstream - Working on the flatness now thanks for the crit!
@ abrvpt - Thanks I am working on the tail feathers now.
@ fordea - Glad you like the hair. I will be doing a render without the coif and crown to show of the hair. Also I agree on the falcon. I am scaling down the chest size and I think I will add some black tips the the feathers.
Nearly done with this. Have some tweaks to make here and there. Thinking about adding the flag from the concept for the final shot. Would like some feedback on it. Plan on having it done before the new year.
My only concern is about the white parts, they are really... white ^^.
Also it would be better to have some AO ( or SSAO ) inside the... stuff on the head. It's not dark enough in there, like if there were no shadow at all around his neck. I think the face would pop out a bit more with some shadow around the neck.
The specular on the skin looks too tight in areas. Especially the neck, shoulder and arm. That's more how I would expect skin to react if it were plastic or something, with those tight highlithts.
I also agree with Texelion, you need stronger shadows in general.
Nice job so far tho dude, keep it up!
Thanks guys!
@ Texelion - yeah I will get more shadow in the neck area. I agree on the whiteness. I will try to come up with something to break it up.
@ BradMyers82 - agreed I do have a gloss map I think I just toned it up too glossy recently. I will tone it back.
Just got back from Christmas last night. Been testing out the flag this morning. I also worked a bit on fixing the glossiness ( still fixing it though). Here is a screen of a quick test this morning. Planning on wrapping this up by tomorrow!
Now a nice touch would be to simulate the red light bouncing from the flag onto the dress ^^. This would add some color to the dress, and well some kind of red backlight.
Yup added a spotlight to fake it. Here are a couple of renders. Trying to hammer out the final shot. Will be doing a bunch of break downs after I get the shot down. Let me know what you all think.

And her battle harness looks great.
