Well after shading the dress I move on to the body.
I did most of the blocking in mudbox, the blending in photoshop , and preview the body in maya with 3 directional lights because for some reason mudbox keep on crashing every time I created more lights in the scene :poly118:.
Well I did some more work shading for the body and here is what I got so far.
I use I couple of anime models I got from turbosquid ( 5 dollars each ) for reference but the shading on each model was so different that I am not even sure if I did it right.

I will use a shader on maya to create the cell-shading effect once I am done with the texturing.
I sculpted some folds on the dress.
tutorials on how to do it.
Here is how my flat shading looks in mudbox.
But doesn't really look like it added a lot to the actual model when I set the lighting back to normal.
Probably because I am not that good shading yet.

Yes, I did not want the line to be straight.
It would make more sense if the uniform design was uniform and not symmetrical only due to personal choice.

I also began to work on the socks and the shoes.
I was force to bake everything with mudbox and maya because for some reason xnormal keep crashing every time I open it on my desktop.
I have to admit that I made a lot of mistakes, some which took me a really long time to fix but is ok because it's all part of the learning process .
Hopefully I'll do better on my next model.
