Your reference shows exactly what I said, they're very broad at the sides (a lot broader than yours) and are going very thin at the top, a lot thinner than yours if you look closely
I can see in your texture sheet that you got it all in the specular, but if you would take a bit of that specular dirt into your diffuse, so its not completely absent when the light is in a certain angle, it would read better. I know the bakelite mags, but theyre going more orange, you are going more in magenta direction
thanks - the uvs for things nearer the front of the gun, and especially any front-facing planes, as well as things on the bottom and the back of the stock are all scaled down compared to things more directly in view. a few parts like the dust cover, stock, and sights are scaled to be slightly larger, too.
