Hey all,
So I'm learning mudbox and I have made a simple shutter that I wanted to use in learning to sculpt with curves... anywho, I wanted to extract an AO map from it and I keep getting these awkward artifacts around the edges of the plane... hopefully someone can help me as I can't find anything online just yet.
Still looking, here's what's happening.

if precision isnt a big issue and this is just a test thing. Scale down the LP plane a tad so you are 100% sure it "catches" the HP.
However, what exactly do you mean by scaling down the lower poly model?

Update: I just tried physically scaling down the plane at it's lowest subdivision, which is separate from my lv 10 sculpt layer... still the same effect. Is this what you meant?
