Hey there polycount. I work at Solent University and we are always looking for people in industry to come down and talk to our students! The art course is one of the only skillset accredited courses in the UK but what we need is to give students more opportunities to meet people in industry.
So what can you expect to do when you come down? Well that's up to you, generally the choices range from;
a critique session (looking at students portfolios and offering one on one advice).
Doing a talk about life in the games industry.
Doing a talk on a specific aspect (or broad theory) of game design.
So if your interested in coming down then PM me, If you have any questions then post up on the thread.
Thanks for reading. =D

Though our course page is currently under reconstruction. Our course is also one of the only skillset accredited courses in the UK.

Only 15 courses have received skillset accreditation. Out of those only 4 are art courses (Including ours). Out of that only That alone should show you we are not "telling".
By no means does this mean we are for everyone and I'm not trying to enlist people. I want to help my current students by getting as many industry professionals in as possible. To help critique there work and help them start to build bridges that they can use to get a foot in the door.
