Hmm... I'm unsure about the mask for the little guy, it makes him look like a knight where as the armour makes the beast just look plated and intimidating - I think if you could find some cool middleground between armour and mad scientist it would be a lot better.
I really, really love the armour on the beast but yeah, if you could keep that theme without straight-up just armouring up the Alchemist himself it will be perfect.
I have a question. when you sculpt (i use zbrush) you have to get more subdivision levels before you do anything right. when i export it (is it supposed to be still subdivided or return to original subdivision)?
Smoothing? Surely that was Vlads sarcasm. I personally hate dam_standard brush. pinch effect is killing me all the time when I use it. I prefer Orb_crack+clay+flatten or Selwy brushes for cloth.
You probably know this but in case I will paste you this link: http://www.selwy.com/2009/zbrush-clothes-tutorial/
Please stop talking for me and push your personal opinion as something better than the method that works (i'm quite sure Jal was watching that stream with me).
The brushes are nice though, nothing you can't do with the other brushes, but i'll try them anyway.

Not sure if I should add some orange stripes or something.
Edit tried stripes.
Heres the sculpt for the weapon.
Gonna work on the masks next.

Example:
With bakes
Without bakes
I need some names for the set/items got any ideas?
Vote!
I hope so too.
many many subdivisions and edge loops
I think you can smooth the folds a bit, just do it like spud does, inverse dam_standard and smooth it out
