I still have a lot of work to do on the hair and the masks are currently just flat colours so there's work to be done there, too. And I'll need to create a LoD1.
I'm looking for advice though, should I do anything with the lenses or should they stay flat green? I'm not sure if this item needs anything more.
Ok and now back to the topic. I would also suggest going for bigger and straight horn. Also don't know what are you planing in terms of coloring, but slightly tinted hair to rainbow colors would be cool (just tiny bit)

If you want a 'traditional' horn I'd say left too. But personally, I think you can go a bit more crazy with it. Who says a horn needs to be a horn? Example:
You're totally right Spudnik, if I was going to make a stylised horn I should go all the way with it instead of slightly off, however, that wasn't what I had in mind when I was thinking about this item so I stuck with the normal unicorn horn.

Also... I'm kind of tempted to make a whole new horse to pair this with... kind of very tempted.

The cuts on him are rather sharp and defined for flesh. Looks more like hard surface cuts. However, it's probably better for visibility this way.
The pustules? look like pustules, rather than scales? I am not sure what they are supposed to be without the texture, but I think you could make some of them less round/uniform and bubbly.
I love that thing, tongue included. I don't have a problem with the 'hard cuts', I think they will read well at low-rez. And the 'pustules' look more like amphibian style 'toad bumps' than they do pustules to me.
The only thing I'd worry about with the tongues are the joints. Is he going to be on the default skeleton or are you planning on custom animating him?

I wish I'd made the goggles fit under the hood from my previous Sniper set, haha. If you wear them both it looks like he has horns.
I think I might actually enhance the curve a bit more, a straight horn is just a bit plain to me.

Colours... I'm thinking maybe mostly white/silver with a hint of blue.

Love it! The only part that looks a bit weird to me is the back horns in terms of how they curve/get fatter, but that's nitpicking

I've also started a Batrider set to keep me busy
One thing that bothers me is the wing anatomy. You could try adding third finger, instead of bone out from his elbow.
